An evening of frivolity and philanthropy

Since 1990, the Mississippi Press Association has roasted Mississippi journalists, celebrities and politicians in good humor as a benefit for the Mississippi Press Foudnation. The Foundation Roast has become a much-anticipated evening of frivolity and fundraising to assist the philanthropic endeavors of MPF.

This year's honoree is chef, restaurateur, and syndicated columnist Robert St. John, a longtime friend of Mississippi newspaper media. 

Our roastmaster is Marshall Ramsey of the University of Mississippi School of Journalism and New Media, a past honoree of the event.
